  7. ******* Terms & Conditions for Distribution **********

  9.      If you are a disk vendor or BBS (referred to as a Distributor),
  10. you are granted a limited license by Pine Grove Software (the
  11. Publisher) to distribute Loan∙Calculator! Plus version 1.0s (referred
  12. to as The Program) with the following restrictions:
  13.  
  14. 1) You may charge a reasonable amount of money to recover your disk
  15. duplicating fees and promotional costs. However, IN NO EVENT MAY YOU
  16. CHARGE MORE THAN $5.00 PER COPY OF THE PROGRAM.
  17.  
  18. 2) Secondly, you must explain to the purchaser of the disk in a
  19. prominent way, that they are buying an evaluation copy of this program
  20. and that they must register it's use by purchasing a license directly
  21. from Pine Grove Software for an additional charge.
  22.  
  23. 3) A distributor may not modify any of the files as documented. All
  24. files as supplied by Pine Grove Software must be included in any
  25. distribution of The Program. A distributor MAY also distribute an
  26. appropriate advertising notice along with the program files as
  27. supplied by Pine Grove Software.
  28.  
  29. 4) If you are NOT a member in good standing of the ASP and you are
  30. distributing The Program via what is referred to in the industry as
  31. 'Rack Sales' you are required to have written authorization from us.
  32. To obtain such authorization you must provide us with a sample of your
  33. packaging.
  34.  
  35. 5) If you are NOT a member in good standing of the ASP you are
  36. required to notify us that you are distributing The Program. (Since we
  37. automatically mail updates to ASP distributors, we are assured that
  38. they have a current version of The Program. We want to be able to
  39. extend to non ASP members the same consideration.) (This provision
  40. DOES NOT applie to BBSs or other On-Line distribution.)

  42. 6) The Program MAY NOT be distributed along with any other product in
  43. such a manor as to add value to said other product. We expressly
  44. prohibit the distribution of The Program preloaded on computers that
  45. are being sold for profit. You may seek an exception to this
  46. requirement by contacting Pine Grove Software.

  48. 7) Continued distribution of Loan∙Calculator! Plus ver 1.0s beyond
  49. May 24, 1998 requires authorization. (More than likely, we will use
  50. the opportunity to update a distributor with a more recent version.)
  51.  
  52. 8) Finally, any promotional items referencing Loan∙Calculator! Plus
  53. must make mention of the fact that the program includes an UnInstall
  54. utility.
